Gary G. Cochran

Author of [Jack Raines Suspense and Thriller Series]

Gary G. Cochran graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Spanish. Gary served three years in the United States Marine Corps, during which time he completed a tour of duty in the Far East. In addition to his duties in close air support, he commanded a platoon of shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles. Following Gary’s release from active military duty, he developed an international marketing and consulting business.
Gary has written a series of business and marketing non-fiction books, along with several suspense and thriller novels. When he wrote “Lethal Skies” and “Lethal Conflict”, he based much of the background material on personal experiences. Writing suspense thrillers based on current events is an important part of Gary’s life. His recent Jack Raines series brings the reader directly into the perils of life today.
Gary is an experienced pilot and has owned and flown many planes, including twin-engine aircraft and a Citation jet. He is an outdoor enthusiast who is equally at home skiing in the Wasatch Mountains or hiking in the Alps of Switzerland. He presently divides his time between writing, business, traveling, and outdoor recreation. Episodes of his life continue to parallel those of many of the main characters in his novels.
